Religion 

Scripture / Christian Life

v     Knows that God speaks to us through the Bible, especially in the Liturgy of the Word

v     Begins to understand the difference between the Old testament and the New Testament

v     Understands that the Bible is a revelation of God�s love for people

v     Is familiar with and can articulate in a simple way the meaning of major themes and stories from the New Testament 

Sacraments / Worship

v     Recognizes the presence of Christ in the Eucharist

v     Prepares to receive First Communion and First Reconciliation

v     Understands Reconciliation as forgiveness and healing

v     Understands that through Baptism we are called to share in the Church�s mission

v     Prays the Sign of the Cross, Glory Be, Our father, Hail Mary, Grace before and after meals, Angel of God and the Act of Contrition 

Morality / Social Justice
